Character Biography

Vanille is a young girl with red-brown hair worn in pigtails who lives in Pulse. Her weapon is a kind of foldable fishing rod with multiple lines that can be reeled. In a trailer, she is seen captured by the Cocoon army and walking in a funeral procession. In the demo and trailers, she narrates many of the events. She is first seen with the rebel leader Snow when he hands her a gun to defend those being forced to leave Cocoon; she is then seen with Hope, watching as the rebels lose the battle against the soldiers. As a l'Cie, she can summon the Eidolon Hecatoncheir.
