Synopsis

In Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII Vincent Valentine is running the show this time around, in this new title. While not much is known about this game yet, Vincent will no doubt be accompanied by some of his old friends from Final Fantasy VII, for you can already see Cait Sith and Yuffie in some official screenshots. A certain Soldier movement known as Deep Ground Soldieres are just as the name implies, a band of warriors driven to hide underground because of the disastrous Meteor, whatever connection they have with Vincent is known.

Being a gun action RPG game, there will be a large assortment of different guns, and gun add-ons for Vincent. You can equip parts to your weapons in multiple areas, also adding materia to give the weapon magic capabilities.

"As you equip parts to your gun, the gun's form changes right before your eyes. Also visible as you equip parts is a chart indicating how the changes you make affect the performance of the gun, with variations to speed, range and power. You can create three preset guns and switch between them with shoulder buttons while you're fighting." - Anoop Gantayat (IGN.com)

Besides the issues with controling Vincent in the demo, and aiming and seeing through the vast darkness, the demo gave people a little taste of what we can expect from this game.
