Final Fantasy X-2

Synopsis

Final Fantasy X-2, the first true sequal to a Final Fantasy title, is set 2 years after the original story. Spira is in a state of "Eternal Calm" and the people have shunned the teachings of Yevon and embraced Machina. Yuna has become a sphere hunter along with Rikku and a new character named Paine. Driven by a discovery of a memory sphere that contained images of Tidus held captive she sets out to find out if he's alive.

Final Fantasy X-2's new battle system features a very fast and furious Active Time Battle (ATB) system with the addition of combos. Also new to the series is the "Job System" where certain spheres contain abilities. Players can change job class in battle to increase effectiveness.

Developed and published by Sqaure-Enix Final Fanstay X-2 hit the market on March 13, 2003 in Japan, November 18, 2003 in the US, and February 26, 2004 in Europe.
